State House sources said that the President is expected to announce a new cabinet anytime from now. Political observers are considering front runners for the post of the Prime Minister the current Foreign Minister, Mr Bernard Membe, and the Minister for Local Governments, Mizengo Pinda. However, they did not rule President Kikwete picking completely an outsider to oversee the government's affairs.
