  • Zain Tanzania yesterday launched a new product through which subscribers can make calls at lower rates, the firm has announced. "A customer can now make calls to ten favourite numbers at just 1/- per second," Zain Tanzania Marketing Director Margaret Kositany said at the launching ceremony of the product known as Pamoja-10, in Dar es Salaam yesterday.

"We have had requests from our customers for tariff choices after the successful tariff plans that we had launched last year. "We believe our customers have the right not to only extensive coverage and quality services but also affordable tariffs," she added.

She said Zain customers would now experience reduced tariffs for a bigger group. "With Pamoja-10 our customers can make calls at 1/- per second to five Zain numbers and 1 number of their choice," the Zain Marketing Director said. Zain network covers all the regions of Tanzania thus allowing more individuals access to vital communication services.
